Constitution Literacy
The ‘CITIZEN’2022 initiative is the first of its kind in India. Indian constitution – the most elaborate in the world, is the first-ever reform document of India, and the Supreme law of the land. Though the document clearly defines the rights and responsibilities of Indian citizens, very few are aware of it even after 72 years. This attempt is to ensure that we as citizens of India can understand and uphold the integral values as advocated by our constitution and also to equip the people to uphold constitutional values in personal life; family life, and socio-political, economic, and cultural life . Our constitution has recognized the significance of education for social transformation. It is a document committed to social justice. The awareness of the people on the constitution and its assurances will promote a healthy democratic process and will create humanized and responsible citizenry
