Organizational Mechanism

It is the basic unit consisting of 10 to 20 families in a ward and they will be taught about the constitution in the simplest form by the Trained Senators.

It is at the ward level of the Gram Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation. It will give all the necessary support to the equality forum. Mobilization of people to the equality forum is the responsibility of the democracy forum

Liberty forum will be functioning at the local body level to oversee and monitor the campaign and will give all the logistical support both to the equality forum and democracy forum.

This will be constituted at the Block level with special focus on the rural areas to conduct the IEC (Information Education ,and Communication) activities and to supervise the ‘citizen-‘ actions of the local bodies.

At the District level for overall supervision, leadership and monitoring.

Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) is giving the academic and training support.
